The package arrived at 6:41am Xmas Eve. What perfect timing! It allowed us to exchange our gifts after breakfast. I've seen these in the homes of dear friends, and they are both stunning to look and have a good hand feel ergonomically. You don't see the color full on until you look from the top, and while you can find mass-produced glasses with color on the bottom, these are worlds above so cheering and whimsical, they really are ART on the bottom. I am a 61 year old nurse. The day I purchased one of your glasses at the Anacortes Art Fair was a day of change for me.   Why would I spend that much on a drinking glass?   Ridiculous, as I walked away from the booth, empty handed, a drinking glass?     Thirty minutes later there I was, looking at those glasses.    I had a budget of $75 for the fair.    I had seen a lot of beautiful things that were not within the budget.    I picked up a squatty one with a splash of the Caribbean in the bottom.   It sang to me.    I took it home, the water became alive before my eyes.    I began visualizing that each time I drank from that glass, I was drinking magic life giving nectar.    Next year, same venue, I bought one with a splash of molten lava, liquid copper in the bottom.    Now I was drinking gold........     I now have six glasses.   When a friend is down, a magic potion is served.  I photograph sun rises through your work, catch rainy days brightened with your magic.    You changed my life, Marcia.     Everyone deserves special and magic in this paltry world.    

 I provide care as a hospice nurse.    Those glasses go with me into many homes.   They are in my Nursing bag.    “Joe, take a sip of this magic water, look at all the light, follow the light, all is well.  You are light”.     You are a healer, Marcia.   Your glasses work wonders. Your email put me over the edge.  I saw your glasses online somewhere obscure; they knocked me out and I have been pining for them ever since.  I  just ordered 4 tall glasses, Vacation at Home, one orange, pink,  green and violet for myself.  No question.  I think. I’m not sure that the everyday photos of your wares do them justice.  But I think I could learn to live with dramatic uplighting in the evening for the sake of my glasses, ha!

The glasses arrived today. They are super beautiful and they are all fabulous. I love holding them in my hands. Truly they are most beautiful with water in them. All the colors come alive and change with movement.

We bought some of your glasses at a farmers market in Redmond a while back.  I have bought my wife rings (k$’s), necklaces ($K’s), even a 140 year old Silver Ring holder from France that cost more than these glasses.  At end of the day, she is a Rockstar who stays at home and takes care of her “5” kids (our 4 and me) and she likes your glasses more than all my other gifts.  To put it in perspective, I think if the kids dropped the Ipad2 (which they have) and your Wileyware she would be more upset over the glass.


It makes her smile just drinking Water! And I like to see her smile.
 
I like Scotch and thought the rock glasses would work for me too, as I am smiling if I’m having a Scotch, but these should only make it better.
