I received a glass as a gift a while back when I got hurt and was leaving the military. I had a squad leader give it to me as a farewell and fast healing cup. In all honesty, I bumped across your art through google. About a year ago I was in need of some new glasses, and given Seattle's glass scene and my preference for shopping local I went looking for what I could find locally from skilled artisans and artists. I think that your site was the first I came across, and immediately the beautiful, vibrant, mesmerizing colors and patterns sold me, and it sparked joy just to look at them and know that they exist. I looked around for a while but never found anything that called to me like your art does. My partner at the time loved them too but didn't want me to get any purely because of the cost despite it being my money, but I'm living on my own now and I need glasses and your incredible works never left my mind. There's something downright magical about the idea of having everyday objects in my life that spark joy, that feel like a celebration of existence, and that make me consciously appreciative of the little things.

We are repeat customers. We met almost a decade ago at the Redmond Farmer’s Market (or whatever they call that summertime weekend event now). We purchased two tall tumblers then, and then followed up with an order of two cocktail glasses. Each time, we chose one for each of us. We then ordered four small 8oz glasses. I love watching programs about artists and saw an Amazon Prime program called Handcrafted America showing your process and your beautiful art work. A short Google search and there you were! My best friend Jo, of over 50 years is having her 70th birthday on April 7th this year and I was hoping they would arrive in time for the party on April 6th, but if not I see her much more now than when I lived an hour away. She and I share a love for mosaic and have done some pieces in ceramic and glass but nothing on the level of your work. Years ago I even took lessons on stained glass while I was recovering from breast cancer. Now that I’m retired I’m happy to have more time to play! We recently went to the OKC Art museum where there are displays of Chihuly glass art so when I saw your work I thought it would be a perfect gift.
